The Fact : The story tells about a dark skinned doctor named Aloysius Lana who presumed to be dead. He leaves alone, but then he engaged to a lady named Miss Morton. She has a brother named Arthur Morton. Then, Dr. Lana leaves her lady, and sells his house and practice. People started to thinking that he is going to abandoning his success as a doctor and leave the city. But then, he found dead in his room. The police accused Arthur as the murderer because he was in Dr.Lana’s house at the night he died. But Arthur swears the he didn’t kill him. He came there only to ask him why he leaves her sister. But he didn’t meet Dr. Lana at that time. In the court, Miss Morton says that her brother didn’t guilty. When she was being asked why, she said that Dr. Lana is still alive. The next day at court, Dr.Lana who was thought to be dead came to court. Everyone grasped, but then he explained everything. He said that the one who dead and look exactly like him is his twin brother whom they never meet for years. He died because of heart attack.
Personal Impression : The story is strange, but I like the mystery scene of this short story. The strangeness is, why should Dr. Lana leave his twin’s dead body in his room and he leaves the town? He was not the murderer anyway, so he doesn’t need to run away and make his fiancĂ©e’s brother be blamed and accused as a murderer.

what a mystery...I want to read it, someday...it must be confusing to read this kind of mystery, but it's always interesting...so, why do you think he leaves the dead body?
Just like another story written by Sir A.C.Doyle, its ending is unpredictable and always interesting to read.
I'll read it later...
well,, I also like to read Conan Doyle's story. it makes me so curious and want to read more and more..
there seems to be unexplained events in every story we read; otherwise, there's nothing to discuss, isn't it? anyway, Sherlock Holmes' film is coming guys, starring Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law. hmm, should be interesting especially when we compare it to the novel...
